Santa and Parties

Four generations went to take Nate to see Santa and Nate's best bud Cameron came along too. Good time was had by all.

Nate also got to make a quick appear at mamma's work party.

Feliz Navidad

Nate had a Fabulous time with Gigi and mama's cousins at the feliz Navidad white elephant gift exchange party. He met a new friend, Ben and they got in lots of trouble together.

Christmas Fun in the City

Atlanta has so many fun things to enjoy during the holidays.
We went to the light show at the botanical gardens, breakfast with Santa with our neighbors.
Nate and Cameron were into the fire truck but they did not want to get too close to Santa.

We also went to ride the Pink Pig. This is an Atlanta tradition! It used to be downtown in the old Riches building but now the pig is in Lenox Mall. Nate loved the pink pig choo choo

Florida Thanksgiving

We are thankful!

This is Nate's first painting. I know that his GiGi will be so proud.

We have some "adventures" the past few weeks. Rob and I decided this summer that it would be a great idea to do a major home renovation. This must have been during the 2 months that we were sleeping all night and thought we could do anything. For the past month Nate has been working on some new molars in the back and it wakes him up in the middle of the night so we are back to little sleep. Planning the renovation has us working day and night meeting with builders, bankers, and the likes. To make a long story short our mortgage refi fell through then the next day Nate got strep throat, then I accidently locked him in the car at the pharmacy (no worries it was only 5 min), the next evening we awoke to loud scratching sounds in the walls turns out Rats inhabited our attic, destroyed all of the insulation in our home and prompted me to have night terrors. These things started to get us down but then I realized how much we have to be thankful for. We are all healthy, we have very loving families, we have jobs, we have food, and we have each other what more could we ask for. So during this season of the year we focus on our blessings.

Now time to jump on a plane for our next adventure.

HALLOWEEN

Sorry it took me a little while to post Halloween. We have had a bad 2 weeks. I will most more on that later- but for now I want to share the happy Halloween pictures. Nate was a cowboy.

We has a neighborhood Halloween Parade. It was great fun. Nate is pushing his best buddy Cameron who is the perfect Thomas the train.

We even got to go to a grown up Halloween party!!!!

Pumpkin Time

I went out of my comfort zone a little and hosted a kid craft party. This was my first kid party and and I dont do crafts but Nate has really enjoyed art at his school that I decided to give it a try.We invited all his little friends and they each decorated a pumpkin. Nate had a ball playing with his buddies and he also discovered M&Ms at the party so his life will never be the same.

Nate loves a bouncy house. He and Cameron were loving the Sesame Street themed castle at the Elementary School fall carnival last weekend.

Beach Trip!

Last weekend we headed to Destin Florida for a weekend trip with some friends

Nate was the only kiddo on the trip (12 adults and Nate) and he had a great time at the beach.

We got lucky and had Perfect weather. Nate loves the water and sand!

Go Go Go

Nate is on the go and it seems like we have been on the go a lot recently too.

We have been having lots of fun.

A few things that about Nate right now

- He loves to color (he calls it sholors) and he really digs "art" at school

-He shakes everyone's hand like he is going into a business meeting

-Elmo is becoming a borderline addiction

-Nate loves to get people to laugh and he laughs if other people laugh

-Nate likes to be the center of attention

-He says Amen after I sing the ABCs

-He calls football pootball and he he gets excited about it on TV

-he asks for mimi and thinks she will come if he just yells for her
-he is starting to realize his strength. He gave mamma a bloody nose last week

-he loves to sweep and throw trash away

-he absolutely idiolizes he DADDA and it is precious to watch
